I've been continuing my weekly hikes in Forest Park to try and get in some sembalance of shapeness. As it is I just see joggers who keep flying by me.
Thanksgiving was spent at the beach and I'm proud to say we ate 5 pies in 1 1/2 days.
I bracketed a few shots in the Grand Canyon and used some HDR/tonemapping software. While it doesn't magically make photos amazing, I think it can add some nice depth. The 2nd picture is the normal exposure of the 1st HDRed photo.
Ingrid's Grandma was sick last week and Ingrid went down to Arizona to be with her. She passed on Tuesday. I went down on Thursday morning and we went up North to Jerome via Prescott and then on to the Grand Canyon.
We raced at Barton Park South of Portland. It was pretty muddy but fast. Our race was delayed and shortened as someone got hurt and taken out in an ambulance. It was hard but a cool course. There was a cool ride up that not everyone made but got cheered by the crowds. The barriers were hard after the bikeups. We didn't get lapped by the singlespeeds until the end, which was nice. Here is a picture of Jeremy as we don't have any others.
Kellie came over to hang out Saturday night to make cookies w/ Ingrid. I was the food critic and got to taste everything for free.
I finished the dog door and patched up the gate so now le dogs can go outside on their own.
For Halloween we dressed up as each other and hung out at Keevin's. I was Matt, Dan was supposed to be me, but he went as an Olympian instead - same caliber, Ingrid was Dan, Keevin was Ingrid, Karen was Keevin, Sylvia was Karen, Jeremy was Sylvia (we think).
